President

Coree SmithCoree Smith is originally from West Des Moines, Iowa. She attended the University of Northern Iowa and became an initiated member of Epsilon Theta chapter in 1993. While at UNI, Coree served as Chapter President, Vice President of Scholarship and Director of Member Education for her chapter. She was Rush Chair for the Panhellenic Council, a member of Order of Omega and Greek Woman of the Year. Coree was also a member of the UNI Dance Team from 1993 to 1996. Upon graduating from UNI summa cum laude with a degree in history in 1998, Coree decided she just couldn't get enough of school and enrolled in the University of Iowa College of Law. While at the U of I, she was a Managing Editor for the Iowa Law Review and captain of the National Moot Court Competition Team. She graduated with high honors in 2001, suffered through the bar exam and moved to Chicago to begin her career as an attorney. Coree is currently a real estate attorney with Kirkland
& Ellis LLP and lives in Lakeview. In addition to being the
President of the CLS Alumnae Chapter, she also serves as the Chapter
Adviser for Beta chapter (Northwestern University). She is especially
excited that Monika Soria Caruso, her best friend from Epsilon Theta
chapter, lives in Chicago and is also a member of the CLS Executive
Board!!! |

Andrea FlynnAndrea Flynn joined Alpha Phi in 1995 as a spring pledge of Phi Chapter. While attending the University of Oklahoma Andrea was on a variety of committees and also held the position of Chapter Promotions, now called Vice President of Marketing. Originally from Oklahoma City, Andrea moved to Chicago in 2001 and now works for an International Rating Agency in the loop. While working with her previous employer, Andrea was able to reconnect with Alpha Phi as 5 of the 7 women who worked with the firm were Alpha Phi's. After a few years as an active CLS member, she decided to become a board member and has served as Community Relations Chair, President and is currently serving as Finance Chair. Andrea enjoys CLS for
all the opportunities it brings; from social to philanthropy there is
always an opportunity to network with other Alpha Phi's from across the
nation. CLS has also brought new friends that will be cherished and a
reminder about the women she bonded with while attending the University
of Oklahoma. |

Cathleen MarineCathleen Marine attended Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts and joined Alpha Phi in 1983 as a pledge of Zeta Theta chapter. During her years at Tufts, Cathleen served as a Panhellenic Representative, Panhellenic President and President of her chapter. Cathleen is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and made her way back to the Midwest in 1990, after spending a few years in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. after graduation. For the past 10 years, she has worked for CNA Insurance in multiple finance roles. The desire to reconnect with other alums struck two years ago and Cathleen has really enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with such a wonderful group of Phis! |

Katie SecorKatie Secor attended DePaul University where she was a charter member of the Iota Eta chapter. While a collegiate member, Katie served as Panhellenic Delegate, Vice President of Programming and Chapter President. Katie graduated in 2005 with a degree in Sociology and minor in American Studies. Currently, Katie works for a large law firm and lives in the West Loop. Katie also volunteers as a facilitator for the chapter based leadership initiative at Northern Illinois University and is on the NCMW Regional Team. |

Julie MannarelliJulie Mannarelli was a charter member in the Iota Eta chapter at DePaul University. While a collegiate member, she served on the executive board as the Director of Administration. Currently, Julie works in medical sales and performs in classical chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras in the Chicago area. |

Michelle AdamsMichelle attended the University of Michigan, where she was an active member of Theta chapter. She served as president of Theta chapter from 2000-2001 and graduated with degrees in Economics and Spanish in 2003. Michelle moved to Chicago in the fall of 2005 and currently works in Internet marketing. |

Kate BakerKate Baker is a recent graduate of Rho chapter at The Ohio State University. She spent two years living in the house and was active in her chapter, holding the position of Secretary her junior year and the exec board position of Director of Finance her senior year. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Kate felt it was time to try something bigger after graduation and packed up and moved to Chicago. She currently works in a lab in the Veteran's Hospital near the UIC and Rush Medical Campuses, and is in the process of applying to medical school. She lives with her boyfriend in the West Loop and is really enjoying the Windy City so far! She is excited to get involved with the Chicago Lake Shore Alumnae Chapter and help plan events with the collegiate chapters in the area.

Sarah LieberSarah Lieber attended Kettering University in Michigan where she served as VP of Formal Recruitment for two years and also held the Historian position. She moved to Chicago almost a year ago and works as an Application Specialist for Children's Memorial Hospital in Lincoln Park. She is also attending DePaul University part-time to earn her Masters in Business Information Technology. And on the weekends, besides enjoying the big city life, she volunteers at PAWS, helping animals. |
